Masterbatch

Unwinding masterbatch is a critical functional masterbatch in protective film production. Formulated with polyolefins as the carrier and blended with opening agents, organic slip agents, and dispersing aids, it is primarily used to improve the unwinding performance of film rolls and prevent sticking, wrinkling, and stretching deformation during rewinding. When added, it forms a microscopic barrier layer on the surface of the protective film, reducing interlayer adhesion and the coefficient of friction. This ensures smoother slitting, rewinding, and peeling during use, without affecting the film’s tackiness, transparency, or lamination performance. Suitable for various types of surface protective films such as PE, PET, and PP, it requires only a low dosage, disperses uniformly, and leaves no leaching residues. It effectively enhances production efficiency and the end-user experience, making it a commonly used additive for the stable production of protective films.
