Impact-modified masterbatch

Impact-modified masterbatches are functional masterbatches formulated using polyolefins as a carrier, blended with impact modifiers and dispersing agents. They are primarily used to improve the toughness, impact resistance, and tear resistance of films. When added, they effectively enhance the film’s low-temperature impact resistance, reducing brittle cracking and film breakage, while maintaining a balance between tensile strength and flexibility. They are compatible with various substrates, including PE, PP, and CPP. Widely used in packaging films, heavy-duty packaging films, agricultural films, and laminated films, they are particularly suitable for packaging applications requiring resistance to impact, puncture, and low temperatures. It delivers significant toughening effects without compromising the film’s processing stability or heat-sealing performance. With moderate addition levels and uniform dispersion, it is a commonly used modification masterbatch for enhancing the film’s overall mechanical properties and reducing breakage rates.
